Joshua J. David, Esq. is an Indianapolis-based attorney with a background in public law, legislative policy, and regulatory matters. He most recently served as a Deputy Attorney General in the Legislative and Policy Division at the Indiana Attorney General’s Office, where he advised senior leadership on complex legal issues, contributed to multi-state litigation, and helped shape national and state policy through strategic drafting and collaboration.
Joshua began his legal career at the Attorney General’s Office as a Law Clerk in 2021 and later advanced to the Intensive Deputy Attorney General program. He earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2023 and holds dual B.A. degrees in Philosophy and Political Science from Purdue University. His public service also includes internships with the U.S. Senate and the Indiana House of Representatives.
He is admitted to practice in Indiana, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the First and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeals. Joshua is an active member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, the Federalist Society, and the Knights of Columbus.
